The body of a man, believed to be a burglar, has been found in the chimney of a law firm.
Staff at Moody & Woolley Solicitors in St Mary's Gate, Derby, were reportedly alerted to the grisly find by the smell.
Police were sent to the city centre premises around noon yesterday afternoon and cordoned off the area while they removed the man's body.
Julie Marson, senior partner at Moody & Woolley, told the Derby Telegraph it appeared to be an "awful" tragedy. Police are still trying to identify the body.
