Man City's Scott Sinclair being treated for blood clot

Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair is undergoing treatment in hospital for a blood clot on his shoulder, the Premier League club confirmed.

Sinclair, 24, did not travel with Roberto Mancini's squad to face his former club Swansea after he was taken ill during training yesterday.

Sinclair is understood to be in a comfortable condition and his illness is not life-threatening.

The club posted on Twitter, "Get well soon Scott Sinclair from everyone at Manchester City FC".
