The driver of a speedboat which killed two members of the same family as it raged out of control in Cornwall was not attached to a safety device designed to cut power in an emergency, an investigators' report concluded.

Two people die in 'privately owned' speedboat

Matt Pavitt from Coastguard has reported that the speedboat, which killed two people in Padstow in Cornwall, was privately owned by the family.

The name "Milly" was on the side of the boat.
