Death toll from Dhaka factory collapse 'passes 700'

Officials in Dhaka, Bangladesh say that the death toll from the collapse of a clothing factory has now passed 700.

Funerals have been taking place for some of the victims of the collapse which happened almost two weeks ago.

Firms back Bangladesh safety plan

The owner of TopShop has joined other retailers including Primark and H&M in signing up to a deal on better safety checks in Bangladesh aimed at preventing any repeats of the building collapse that left more than 1,000 workers dead.
