An order has been lifted on the military wearing their uniforms in public in London that was imposed after the solider was murdered on the streets of Woolwich. It is understood David Cameron thinks the best way to defeat terror to "act normally."

Military ordered not to wear uniforms in public

Military personnel have been ordered not to wear their uniforms in public "in London and Greater London" following the Woolwich murder.

This email was sent to Air Cadets:

No uniforms are to be worn by any military personnel whilst walking out of unit/MoD locations in London and Greater London with effect now until further notice.

This includes the carriage of military day sacks.
