A 79-year-old man who was killed in his garden by an out of control dog had complained about them to a neighbour shortly before he died.
She said the victim had told her two dogs in the house next door to him had broken through his back fence. He was intending to call the police about it the next day.
He was found dead in his garden yesterday evening by police responding to a dog that was "out of control". Armed police shot one dog at the scene and took another away, according to neighbours.
