Teenager in court over Lee Rigby web comments

A teenager is due in court today in connection with comments on a social website following the murder of soldier Lee Rigby.

Nineteen-year-old Mohammed Mazar, of Balmoral Drive, Woking, in Surrey, is charged with improper use of a public electronic communications network under the Communications Act 2003. He will appear at South West Surrey Magistrates' Court.

Since Drummer Rigby was brutally murdered in Woolwich on May 22, there has been a spike in communal tensions expressed online. Police across the country have made arrests for malicious comments posted on sites such as Facebook and Twitter in relation to the killing.
