Protests continue in Brazil following a week of unrest that saw a million people take to the streets to demonstrate against the government. This time the demonstrations have become more localised, calling for action on a range of social issues.

Riot police clash with demonstrators in Brazil

Demonstrators have continued to clash with police near the Mineirao Stadium in Belo Horizonte, situated in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais.

Reports say that one person was killed yesterday amid the anti-government protests over poor public services, health, education and transport.
