Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic will swelter under a relentless heat as they battle it out for Wimbledon supremacy today, as west London is expected to experience the hottest temperatures of the year.

Thermometers at Heathrow and Kew Gardens in the capital nudged 28.1C (82.6F) yesterday, but those temperatures are set to be put in the shade today as the mercury soars to 30C (86F).
