Thames Valley Police confirmed they have the situation "fully in hand" after both twin two-year-old girls were released after being held hostage at a house in Oxfordshire.
The girls' father, who was holding them hostage in the property, is believed to still be inside the property, the Oxford Mail reported.
Local Policing Area commander Superintendent Christian Bunt said:"We have the area contained and we have firearms officers that are deployed and are currently dealing with this incident".
