Doreen Lawrence will address MPs from the Home Affairs committee today following allegations police officers hunted for information to smear her family during their botched investigations into the racist murder of her son. Currently, two existing inquiries are to examine the claims:
- A police investigation into the activities of undercover officers
- A police investigation into allegations of corruption in the original investigation into Stephen's death, lead by Mark Ellison QC, also appearing today
