Report: Six arrested in Trayvon Martin protests in LA

Six people have been arrested in large protests in Los Angeles after a jury decided not to convict George Zimmerman of the murder of teenager Trayvon Martin, according to officials cited in the LA Times.

The protests went on well into the early hours of this morning with the Los Angeles Police Department implementing emergency measures including firing bean bags at protesters.

Trayvon juror speaks out

One of the jurors who found George Zimmerman not guilty of the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin has said she had "no doubt" he feared for his life in his struggle with the unarmed black teenager.
