The Queen told children at Lake Windermere she does not mind whether the royal baby is a boy or a girl but hopes it arrives soon because she is off on holiday next week.
She was asked: "Do you want Kate's baby to be a boy or a girl?"
The Queen replied: "I don't think I mind but I would very much like it to arrive because I'm going on holiday soon. No sign yet."
