Pope Francis has left Brazil with Rio still pulsating with excitement after an historic beachfront Mass for more than 3 million people in which he challenged young people to build a new world based on tolerance and love.

Security concerns ahead of Pope's Brazil visit

Pope Francis will make his first international visit since his visits Brazil - the worlds largest Catholic country. His six-day trip includes mass on Copacabana beach and a visit to the favela shanty towns.
