Brit stabbed in Crete named

A British teenager who died after being stabbed in the chest while on holiday in Crete has been named. Tyrell Matthews-Burton, 19, was killed during a scuffle between nearly 30 people who police on the Greek island said were also British.

Tourist stabbed after 'mass brawl' outside bar in Malia

A young British tourist was found fatally stabbed in the early hours after a brawl in the popular resort of Malia on the Greek island of Crete, according to Greek news website Eleftherotypia.

Citing AFP news agency, it reports that the male victim, aged 19 or 20, was found at around 3am, after a fight involving up to 30 Britons.

A police source reportedly told AFP they were looking for a single attacker.
