A photo reportedly posted on Facebook by Spanish train driver Francisco Jose Garzon shows a train speedometer hitting 200km/h, Spanish media said.
In a comment, Garzon allegedly joked that the speedometer “had not been tampered with.”
The driver is set to be questioned by police today amid reports that the train was over the speed limit before it crashed.
