A surge of people applying for tickets for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games led to delays of up to an hour as one million went on sale today.
Within minutes of tickets going on sale, the organising committee's website had crashed due to the huge demand.
Organisers said tickets - which range from £15 to £250 - were available until mid-September and urged people to be "patient" in their quest to buy tickets for the event.
