Sunshine and showers amid muggy conditions

Overnight rain is taking a while to ease from southeastern England. Elsewhere a few showers are dotted around, with cloud and spots of drizzle for eastern Scotland.

For the rest of us a lovely day - the best of the sunshine across the southwest. It'll be warm in the sunshine - but close and muggy with the cloud.
