The England cricket team said they did not mean to "disrespect" Surrey Cricket Club and apologised for their "inappropriate behaviour" amid reports that several players urinated on the Oval pitch after winning the Ashes.

Fans pack Oval for final day of Ashes series

A capacity crowd at the Oval watched England and Australia battle for victory on the fifth day of the final Ashes Test.

England, who lead 3-0 in the five-Test series, have been set a target of 227 to win the final Test.
