Paris Jackson 'doing much better' says Grandmother

Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris, is "doing much better" according to her Grandmother and legal guardian, Katherine, after her reported suicide bid earlier this year.

The 83-year-old Jackson family matriarch told Hello! Magazine, Paris was "in a good place" and "getting the help she needs".

Fifteen-year-old Paris was rushed to hospital in June after cutting her wrists and swallowing a large number of over-the-counter painkillers at the Jackson family home in Los Angeles.

Katherine was upbeat about the help Paris was receiving: "The treatment is going good, really good. She's my baby. It's hard for me, really hard. All I wanted these kids to be is happy.

"The night Michael died Paris was crying and said 'I want to go and see Daddy, I don't want to be without him'."
