Police make 'around a dozen' arrests at Bristol derby

Avon and Somerset Police say they have arrested around a dozen "known hooligans" following violence atthe Bristol football derby.

Chief Superintendent Caroline Peters criticised a "small minority of hooligans" for coming to the match "with the sole intention of trying to spoil the enjoyment for the majority".

Three police officer were treated for non-serious injuries, she said.
