UK & US closely aligned' on Syria

The Foreign Secretary has insisted Britain and America's "objectives and efforts remain closely aligned" despite MPs voting against military action in Syria. Their meeting in London took place as their Syrian and Russian counterparts met in Moscow.

Public support for US Syria action fading

The Russian offer for international supervision of Syria's chemical weapons has taken yet more of the wind from President Obama's sails.

He is due to start making his case for military action again later tonight. But as Washington Correspondent Robert Moore reports, public support for it is still falling.
