London fashion week kicks off with big names like Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith, Burberry and Stella McCartney showing the world how to dress to impress.

58 catwalk shows will debut trends and looks for the 2014 spring and summer collections.

British designer Jasper Conran will be among the first to the catwalk, while the top names tomorrow include Julien Macdonald and Henry Holland.

US designer Tom Ford returns with a show on Monday, while McCartney will display her collection for Adidas on Tuesday.

The event is expected to attract more than £100 million in orders, according to the British Fashion Council (BFC), as buyers, journalists and bloggers descend on London to spot the latest trends.
