Conditions good for Costa Concordia righting attempt

Nick Sloane, head of the Costa Concordia salvage operation, tells me weather conditions are good and after a 30-minute delay the parbuckling process will start at 6.30am.

Costa salvage effort complete

The Costa Concordia salvage operation has been completed, the head of Italy's civil protection authority announced. It took engineers 19 hours to raise the ship from its side.
