UN Security Council to discuss Syria

The five permanent members of the UN Security Council, the US, Russia, Britain, France and China, will meet in New York today to discuss the draft resolution on Syria's chemical weaponry, as agreed between the US and Russia, a US official said.

Erin Pelton, spokeswoman for the US mission to the United Nations said:

Today, the P5 members of the U.N. Security Council (U.S., UK, France, Russia, China) will meet to discuss the joint P3 (U.S., UK, France) draft Security Council Resolution on Syria's chemical weapons program,"
