West Yorkshire Police are appealing for the mother of a newborn baby found dead at a waste management site to come forward.
Police officers said they have "serious concerns" about her health following the discovery in Bradford last night.
A full post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place later today to determine the cause of death but it is believed the child was only very recently born.
