The US State Department has said that ten gunmen were involved in a mall siege in the Kenyan capital Nairobi. Marie Harf, deputy spokeswoman added:
Local media reports that around 10 gunmen attacked the mall, which is frequented by expatriates in an upscale neighborhood of Nairobi. Reports indicate the attack occurred around noon on Saturday, September 21.
The Nairobi Chief of Police said the attack is a terrorist act, and we would refer you to the Kenyan Authorities for additional information.
