Hodgson 'not concerned' over Qatar World Cup vote

England manager Roy Hodgson has told ITV News that he is not concerned at the moment about when the Qatar 2022 World Cup will be staged.

A FIFA vote is expected to back moving the tournament from summer to winter in the next 24 hours, which could impact upon the Premier League.

Speaking after naming his England squad to compete in upcoming World Cup qualifiers, he said: "As far as I am concerned at the moment there is more than enough for me to think about, concern myself about, even to some extent worry about, because I am so desperate that we qualify (for Brazil 2014)."

He added: "I think I'll leave the subject of Qatar to people who will have a much more philosophical view on the subject than I have at this moment in time."
