FIFA winter World Cup probe

FIFA edged closer to holding the 2022 Qatar World Cup in the winter after it agreed to set up a commission to look into moving the tournament. However, no decision will be made until after next year's World Cup in Brazil.

Qatar 2022 chief concerned over treatment of workers

The head of the 2022 World Cup organising committee had told ITV News there are concerns over the treatment of migrant workers involved in the construction of stadia and other tournament projects.

The frustration is that there's a focus on the absolute negativity without looking at the context being provided around it.

We have had discussions with stakeholders and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) within and outside Qatar.

The government has said it will be reviewing these matters.
