A lolly pop lady who threw herself in front of an out-of-control car to protect the schoolchildren she shepherds to and from school has been given an award for outstanding bravery at the Pride of Britain awards.
Karin Williams suffered severe injuries after she put herself between the vehicle and pupils in June.
Some of the children injured in the crash joined her on stage as she received her award from James Corden.
