A choirboy is to challenge the winner of X Factor to reach the Christmas top spot.

Jack topping is the bookies' second favourite to clinch the number one, with his charity single Tomorrow.

The 11-year-old will be raising funds for Save The Children, which helps children across the globe in both emergency and long-term matters.

Jack, who is a choirboy in Liverpool, said: "I watch the X Factor every week so it's really exciting and a bit scary that I will be going up against them. There are boys and girls all over the world that need help. Together, I know we can make a difference this Christmas."

The schoolboy made history last month when he became the youngest person ever to be signed by the Decca label.

His debut album Wonderful World is out on December 2.
