A British soldier killed in Afghanistan has been named by the Ministry of Defence as Lance Corporal James Brynin, 22, of the Intelligence Corps, who was attached to 14 Signal Regiment.

Fallen soldier to be repatriated

A soldier shot dead on patrol in Afghanistan is to be repatriated. Lance Corporal James Brynin of the Intelligence Corps will be flown back to the UK later today.
