Plane makes emergency landing after fuel runs dry

A light aircraft has made an emergency landing in a field near Wolverhampton after running out of fuel.

The plane came down near Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green Airport, close to the village of Bobbington, near Stourbridge in the West Midlands.

Staffordshire Fire Service attended the incident but said it had already been dealt with when crews arrived at the scene.
