A weekend of blustery conditions as clocks go back

It's set to be increasingly blowy over the weekend as the winds pick up.

A belt of rain will sweep into the north and west tomorrow, making it feel cool, while most of the Midlands, East Anglia, central and south-eastern England will get away with a milder and drier day, the rain not moving in until after dark.

After an extra hour in bed, once the clocks change and British Summer Time ends, expect blustery showers and brighter skies on Sunday.

There's the potential for stormy conditions into Monday morning, with a risk of damaging winds and rush hour disruption. More detail to come in the next couple of days.
