Pizza delivery driver stabbed to death on final shift

A pizza delivery driver, who was on his final shift before starting his dream job in IT, was stabbed to death as he delivered his last ever order.

Thavisha Lakindu Peiris, 25, was found slumped at the wheel of his car on Sunday evening in the Southey area of Sheffield.

Police said they cannot explain the "brutal and shocking death" of Mr Peiris who came to the UK from Sri Lanka to study IT.

Arrests in pizza worker murder

Police have made two arrests in connection with the murder of Thavisha Lakindu Peiris, who was stabbed to death in Sheffield during his last shift as a delivery man for Domino's Pizza. A 25-year-old man and a 17-year-old male are being held.
