Domino's fund UK flights for murdered worker's family

Domino's Pizza said they will pay the cost of flying the family of a murdered employee to the UK.

The company are to buy flights for relatives of delivery driver Thavisha Lakindu Peiris, who was stabbed to death on Sunday while making his last ever pizza delivery.

Domino’s CEO Lance Batchelor said: "Thavisha's family being so far away adds to the pain of this tragic situation and bringing them over to the UK is of paramount importance."

Arrests in pizza worker murder

Police have made two arrests in connection with the murder of Thavisha Lakindu Peiris, who was stabbed to death in Sheffield during his last shift as a delivery man for Domino's Pizza. A 25-year-old man and a 17-year-old male are being held.
