Abdelhakim Dekhar, the man arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of carrying out recent shootings in Paris, appeared heavily medicated when he was detained, French Interior Minister Manuel Valls told reporters today.
"Everything seems to show that indeed, he tried to commit suicide. However, he did not kill himself, which is very important so that we can find out all the facts, the truth about his motivations which we obviously don't know yet," Valls said.
