Jeanette Retson, a friend of David Traill, the RAF pilot killed in the Glasgow helicopter crash has described him as a "lovely person" who "loved his work".
She told ITV News' Scotland Correspondent Debi Edward when she heard news of the crash she was hoping he was not one of the victims as she knew he was working with the police.
"I found out this morning when they named the pilot, it was David. I'm so sorry, so sad, he was a lovely person......I'm proud to have known David Traill".
