Producers have confirmed that The Inbetweeners Movie 2 will be shot in Australia this month before coming back to the UK in January ready for release in August.

The original 2011 film starred Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley and Blake Harrison as the hapless teens celebrating their final school year with a holiday in Crete.

Inbetweeners creators Iain Morris and Damon Beesley said in a statement: "We can't say too much as we don't want to spoil the jokes for you, but what we can exclusively reveal is there will be kangaroos. And Australians. And possibly koalas".
