Victoria Beckham's wedding tiara fails to sell

The gold and diamond tiara Victoria Beckham wore on her wedding day has failed to sell at auction.

The coronet-style headpiece had been expected to fetch between £18,000 and £25,000 at the Bonhams sale in central London today.

However, the "fairytale" piece failed to reach the undisclosed reserve price, with the highest bid being £14,000.

The then-Victoria Adams commissioned Irish jewellery designer Slim Barrett to make the tiara for her 1999 wedding to footballer David Beckham.
