Lockerbie bombing remembered on 25th anniversary

Memorial services are taking place to mark the 25th anniversary of the Lockerbie bombing which killed 270 people. In a joint statement, British, US and Libyan authorities vowed to "deepen" their cooperation in investigating the atrocity.

Church service in Lockerbie begins

A service is just beginning at Dryfesdale Church in Lockerbie to mark the 25th anniversary of the bombing.

The service, which has the theme 'Looking Forward', is being led by students from a scholarship programme between Lockerbie Academy and Syracuse University.

Some 35 students from the university, in upstate New York, were killed in the disaster.
