Cardiff City have relieved Malky Mackay of his duties following a 3-0 home defeat to Southampton yesterday.
The Board of Directors at Cardiff City Football Club have today relieved Malky Mackay of his duties.
A new first team manager will be appointed and announced in due course.
The decision follows a period of unrest at the club, after owner Vincent Tan told Mackay to either resign or be sacked last week.
