1,500 properties 'remain without power'

The number of properties without power as a result of the heavy storms is down to around 1,500, Energy Networks UK have said.

Residents along Thames prepare for more flooding

The Environment Agency has warned communities along the River Thames throughout Surrey, Berkshire and Oxfordshire of the risk of further flooding, after it burst its banks. There are currently more than 70 flood warnings in place.
