Two men arrested following North Sea ferry fire

Two men have been arrested following a fire on board a ferry in the North Sea - a 26-year-old man on suspicion of arson and a 28-year-old on suspicion of affray. Four crew members and two passengers were taken to hospital for treatment.

'Six people rescued' from ferry blaze, says RAF

Six people have been rescued from a fire on board a ferry on the North Sea, RAF Squadron Leader Dave Webster has told ITV News. The passengers were taken to a hospital in Scarborough.

Two RAF helicopters were scrambled to help injured passengers on the service around 30 miles east of Flamborough Head.
