Emergency services on standby for floods across UK

Emergency services in Ireland, Lincolnshire as well as Devon & Somerset have been reporting incidents of flooding as Britain gears up for another system of heavy rain and strong winds.

Lincolnshire have deployed 4 boat teams from Gainsborough, Boston, Spalding and USAR to standby in Somerset.

Residents along Thames prepare for more flooding

The Environment Agency has warned communities along the River Thames throughout Surrey, Berkshire and Oxfordshire of the risk of further flooding, after it burst its banks. There are currently more than 70 flood warnings in place.
