The lifeboat crew in the Welsh town of Aberystwyth is warning people to stay away from the promenade on the shore as the high water mark fast approaches.
The coastal town has been pummelled by large waves in recent days.
The town's mayor Dylan Lewis had the same advice:
High tidal surge imminent along #Aberystwyth promenade, stay safe from danger and keep well away from the seafront.
A farm in Muchelney, Somerset, has been completely surrounded by floodwater following the recent storms, turning it into an island.
