Police said they are extremely concerned for the welfare of two 12-year-old girls who went missing in north London yesterday.
Friends Wiktoria Popieland and Vitalija Sidlauskaite were last seen together on Morley Avenue in Wood Green around 5pm yesterday.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said:
Their disappearance is completely out of character for both girls and they have never gone missing before.
Their families and police are extremely concerned for their welfare and urge anyone who sees them or who has information about their whereabouts to call police on 101.
