Laura Robson made a very early exit from the Australian Open in Melbourne this morning, lasting less than an hour in the tournament. She was beaten in the first round by 18th seed Kirsten Flipkens.
The British number one came into the competition having not completed a match this season because of an wrist injury.
The result will be a big blow to Robson, who reached the third round in Melbourne last year.
