One Direction singer Liam Payne has apologised after his friends tweeted photograph of him standing on the ledge of a high-rise building.
The boyband star described what he did as "extremely dangerous", adding that it was "stupid" and "irresponsible".
You may have seen a photo of me today taken on top of a building. I regret being there and having a photo taken.
It was a stupid and irresponsible thing to do. I am sorry, and do not endorse any fans trying to repeat this, as it is extremely dangerous.
In the now-deleted photograph, Payne, 20, is standing on a ledge of a tower block with a city thought to be London seen sprawling behind him.
