Diver Tom Daley moves training base to London

Olympic medal-winning diver Tom Daley is to move to London as he switches his training base to the capital.

Daley will work alongside newly appointed Jane Figueiredo as he switches his 2016 Olympic training to the London Aquatics Centre at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

The 19-year-old won his London 2012 bronze medal at the centre and was also the first person to dive from the boards at its official opening, ahead of the Olympics.

"Plymouth will obviously always be my home but after thinking long and hard about my future in diving, I have decided that a change will be beneficial to my development," Daley said.
